computer and what is the function of CPU in computer.
If you also want to know all this information about CPU. Then
definitely read this article. Because many people even many computer operators
do not have the correct knowledge of computer CPU. Many people consider the box
that comes with the PC as the CPU. But is that box really the CPU? No! Then
what is CPU, how is it and where is it. All this information has been told in
this article. This article also explains why CPU is called the brain of the
computer. It controls all the functions of the computer system. Therefore CPU
is also responsible for performance of our computer system.
Whenever we go to buy smartphone or computer from the shop. Then
the shopkeeper tells about the specifications of that system. In which the CPU
is also told. AS; 64 Bit Quad Core Intel i7. But if you will not be from Technical
or Computer Field. Then you are going to understand all this information. But all
this is responsible for the performance of the computer or smartphone. When you
know about it. Then you can go for the right CPU. That’s why you should keep
information about CPU, the main part of computer . the name of the best CPU is
also mentioned in this article. So let’s know what is CPU?

What is CPU?
The full form of CPU is Central Processing Unit. It is a
small but important part of the computer. Which is similar to a chip. It processes
all the instructions of the computer and gets the result according to the
program. After this the computer gives an output. That is, before getting the
output in the computer, the work of the CPU is done. It controls and processes
instructions. Only then there is a result.
CPU is a type of electronic device. But just as the mind of a
man is necessary for a man. In the same way, the CPU of the computer is
necessary for the computer. Because CPU is considered as the brain of the
computer. Just as man can’t do anything without his mind. In the same way
computer also can’t do anything without CPU. Whatever you can do with computer.
CPU has an important hand in that. That’s why is called the most important
device of the computer.
To get the output of each input in the computer, it has to
pass through the CPU. Let us take an example to understand it in simple
language. As; You use Calculator Software to add two number in computer. Then first
of all with the help of keyboard the computer will have to input two numbers. Now
keyboard Controller will convert those two number into Binary Language. This is
because Computer works on Binary Language. When these two numbers reach the
computer CPU. Then the main part of the CPU Arithmetical Logical Unit shows
these two numbers on the computer display by adding them.
Similarly, CPU is responsible for executing any type of work
in the computer. Because by this all the work is executed. Because of which the
CPU often gets hot. A fan is placed near the CPU to prevent the CPU from
heating up. Which is called CPU Fan or Cooling Fan. CPU is also called
Processor, Microprocessor and in short just CPU. Therefore, Processor
Specifications of Computer System or Smartphone. It is made in such a way that thousands
and millions of small transistors are installed in it.
Note:- CPU can access RAM and get data from it to process.

CPU |
You have come to know what is CPU and what is the definition
of CPU. Let us now introduce you to how and where the CPU is. The CPU is a square-shaped
electronic microchip mounted on the computer’s motherboard. Which you can see
on the motherboard below the CPU Fan. Computer has to be opened to see it. Because
the motherboard is the internal part of the computer. If you want to see the
picture of CPU. Then we have also given the picture of CPU above for you. Which
you can see and understand how the CPU looks.

Functions of CPU
As we have already mentioned that CPU is the most important
device of the computer system. Because its work is most prominent in the
computer. Here we will known in detail what are the functions of Computer CPU
and what CPU does in the computer.
· · CPU reads data by accessing memory to get input.
· · The CPU executes the instructions received from the computer keyboard.
· · The CPU control and processes all the functions of the computer.
· · The CPU works on the basis of programs and instructions received from the computer.
· · The CPU received data from the input device and displays the result.
· · The CPU processes all the functions of the computer.
· · CPU performs arithmetic calculations and logical calculations.
· · The CPU converts Input into Output.
· · CPU connects Input Device and Output Device.
· · Simply put, all the work of the computer passes through the CPU. It acts as the brain for the computer.
Parts of CPU
As we said, CPU is the brain of the computer. It processes all the functions of the computer. Only after this the computer is able to show any result. Some of the major device of CPU help in performing these tasks of CPU. which are part of CPU. Each part of the CPU has its own separate function. Now you must be wondering how many parts are there in the CPU. CPU is mainly made up of three parts. Whose name is as follows.
1. · Arithmetical Logical Unit (ALU)
Arithmetical Logical Unit is abbreviated as ALU. It is the main
part of CPU. It is responsible for performing arithmetic and logical
operations. As; The processing of tasks like addition, subtraction, multiplication,
division, comparison and yes or no is done by the Arithmetical Logical Unit,
part of the CPU. Apart from this, selecting, matching etc. under logical work
is also the work of this part of CPU. In general language, the work of ALU is to
do Arithmetical Operations and Logical Operations.
2. · Control Unit (CU)
Control Unit is abbreviated as CU. It controls all the
functions and events of the computer. Controls all the processes taking place
in the computer. It receives instructions from computer memory. Apart from this,
it creates coordination between all the Input Devices, Output Devices and
Processors of the computer. Due to which the result of the instructions given
by the Input Device is received on the Output Device. Since it manages all the
operations of the computer. That’s why it is called the manager of computer.
3. · Memory Unit
Memory unknit is a storage device. Whose work is to collect
the necessary instructions, programs, commands and result in the computer. It also
an important part of CPU. To perform any task in the computer, the received
instructions are first kept in the memory. After which instructions are
received from the memory and processed. After processing the result is then
kept in the memory. So that is then kept in the memory. So that user can use it
anytime. Computer uses different memory to perform these tasks. Uses RAM to
hold unprocessed instructions. Which is a temporary memory. Whereas processed
instructions i.e. keeps the result in ROM. Which is a permanent memory. The data
kept in this memory can last forever. Which can be used anytime.
How does CPU work?
CPU is the major part of computer system. This is that
device. Which gives the result of the instructions given us. In such a
situation, we must know how the CPU works. Since the work of the CPU is done by
the peripherals of the CPU. We have explained above the function of CPU and its
accessories. In which the work of ALU, the work of memory Unit and what is the
work of Control Unit inside the CPU. If we talk about the way CPU works, then
CPU works in three stages from taking instructions to giving results. The three
phases of CPU work are Fetch, Decode and Execute respectively. Let us know
these steps in detail.
1. Fetch
The first stage is Fetch. As its name suggests, instructions
are fetched in this phase. Means it is received. These instructions are
received from RAM to the CPU in the series of Binary Number. But the CPU does
not receive any instructions directly from the RAM. Rather a large operation is
divided into several smaller building blocks or sets. After which CPU receives
each piece of instructions one by one. It has a Program Counter (PC) to find
out the next set of instructions from these sets. Which tells the CPU which set
of number to process next. Instructions after the first step are stored in a register
called the Instructions Register (IR).
2. Decode
This is second step. In this, store instructions in IR are
passed to the instructions decoder circuit. In which the Decode phase begins. Where
the instructions are Decoded into Signal and interpreted. After the instruction
is decoded into a signal, it is sent to another part of the CPU for further
processing.
3. Execute
This is the last step. In this step the decoded instructions
are executed. After which stores the result Obtained in the form of output in
the CPU Register. So that other Decode instructions can give reference to them.
After this, as per the requirement, the result is given to the Output Device or
the internal memory is kept safe.
Types of CPU
When we talk about the type of Computer CPU. Then it refers
to the capacity and speed of the computer CPU. The higher the speed of the CPU.
He can do any work quickly. CPU speed is measured in Gigahertz. As; if the
speed of a CPU is 3.0 GHz. Then it can process up to three billion instructions
in a second. How fast will the computer system and software work? This part of
the computer also depends on the CPU only.
Therefore it becomes necessary to choose the right CPU for your
system. Which can handle the whole system properly. When we talk about the
performance of CPU. Then it becomes very important to know what is Core in CPU.
Means what is Core? Do you know what is Core? Today’s CPUs are divided into
several sets. Each part of which is called a CPU Core. It tells the capability
of the CPU Core. That is, if a CPU has a Core. Then that CPU will be able to do
one task at a time.
Similarly, the CPU which will have multiple cores. He will be
able to do multiple tasks at a time . the parts of Core are called Threads. How
many tasks will the CPU do at a time? It depends in the cores and threads of
the CPU. The earlier CPUs used to be single core only. But with time it developed
and today CPUs with multiple cores come. Due to which multiple tasks can be
done at a time. Here we have told about some types of CPU. So that it will be
easy for you to know which CPU is best for your system. So let’s know how many
types of CPU are there.
1. Single Core CPU
The CPU in which there are single cores. They are called
Single Core CPU. That is, this CPU has the capacity of a processor. These are
the oldest CPU types. Earlier this CPU had to be used. This type of CPU had
ability to execute only one process at a time. That is, multitasking was not
possible through this.
2. Dual Core CPU
Dual Core CPU has two cores. That is, the capacity of the
processor is two in it. You must have seen Dual Core written in the
specifications of Mobile or Computer. Which means from this CPU. It can do more
tasks at a time than single core CPU. Its processing speed is also higher than
Single Core CPU. But less than Quad Core CPU>
3. Quad Core CPU
A CPU with four cores is called a Quad Core CPU. It has the
capacity of a four core processor. Due to which its processing speed is better
than Single Core CPU and Dual Core CPU. Multitasking is possible with its help.
Big tasks can be done easily with this type of CPU. As; Videos Editing,
Designing, Games etc.
Hope you have understood the type of CPU. Earlier there used
to be a single core CPU. But over time it evolved and today a CPU chip has
Multiple cores. Which made multitasking possible. Above we have told up to four
core CPU. But nowadays six core CPU called Hexa Core CPU and eight core CPU
called Octa Core CPU. This too has started coming. That is, today more than one
core has starts coming in a single CPU chip. But each CPU chip is made up of at
least one core.

How made CPU
CPU is a type of Micro Chip. Which is made from Silicone
Chip. Whose main material is silicone. Since silicone is available in large
quantities in sand. That’s why sand is used to make semiconductor from sand,
one has to go through two companies or two factories. In the first factory, Silicone
is extracted from the sand. For this send is subjected to high heat (about
1000°c) and special type of chemical is used. After this process, silicone is
obtained in the form of small crystals.
By heating these crystals, a special type of chemical is used
to make a cylinder of silicone. This cylinder is called an ingot. Now this
Silicone cylinder is tested whether it is Pure Silicone or not. When the
cylinder of silicone is passed in the test. It is then divided into thin
portions. Which is called Wafers. These Wafers are made smooth by cutting and
polishing. Now these wafers are delivered to the chip making company or
factory. Where many transistors (Millions of Transistor) are made on top of
these wafers. Ultraviolet laser is used in this. When transistor is printed on
these wafers.
Several chips are obtained from each Wafers. Finally these chips
are tested. When everything is correct, it is packed inside a cover. All this
process is not that easy. This can be gauged from the fact that all these
processes are done at the microscopic level. That means we can’t even see with
naked eyes. There are many other processes involved in this. But hare we have
explained it in simple language and in brief. So that you can easily understand
how CPU is made from sand.
